Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Yay! 1st day of October… I kept my commitment and went running at an ungodly hour (5am to be exact…). It was quite peaceful out and it really gave me a head start on the day. I even caught Good Morning America as I was getting ready and they were all about PINK today. So I thought I’d share the love and keep pink in mind as I got ready.

I pulled out my Maybelline Color Tattoo Cream Eye Shadows in Inked in Pink (eye lid/inner corner), a frosty light pink & pomegranate Pink (crease/outer corner), a deep shimmery maroon shade.

I evened out my skin tone using Garnier’s BB Cream for Combo/Oily skin in Light/Medium, this is a little drying unless you use a moisturizer under. I blotted a little ELF Studio Blush in Diva on the apples of my cheeks & blended it out. I used a bright pink lipstick, Covergirl Lip Perfection in Temptress #400 to bring in more pink.

Since I had so much time on my hands this morning (literally), I redid my nails before work! Goodbye chipped fall shade, hello pink BCA nails! I started out with OPI’s Suzy’s Hungary again & layered OPI’s Pink Before You Leap to give it tons of shimmer & shine. I have so many pinks that I decided to keep my nails pink this WHOLE month to spread breast cancer awareness.

Someday I’d like to do the Susan G Komen 3 day run. My friends and I were supposed to do it years ago but the timing didn’t work out :-/ Ever since then it’s been on my bucket list. Baby steps… Training for Turkey Trot first!

P.S. ELF is giving 100% of proceeds from their Studio HD Cream Blush in Headliner go to Breast Cancer Research! (affiliate link)

    • I looked in to it again and I really want to do it! I need to make some runner friends.
